Year 13 Celebrate Results
We are immensely proud of all the amazing achievements our hard working, dedicated Year 13 students have achieved this year, once again producing a strong set of results in their A-Level and vocational courses. We are delighted that Waingels students continue to achieve excellent examination results with half of all students achieving grades A*-B and, once again, a significant proportion of those have achieved an A or A*. Students following the vocational pathway have also performed strongly with over half achieving at least a Distinction in their course and over three quarters of all students achieving at least a Merit.
There are so many outstanding achievements, and each student deserves credit for their results. However, we have chosen the following which exemplify the quality and calibre of the class of 2024.
Izzy who will be working for Vodafone to complete a degree apprenticeship
Hamza who will be studying Chemistry at a Russell Group University

Headteacher Lindsey Humber said. “This incredible group of students, having successfully met the challenges of COVID lower down the school, have gone from strength to strength in our Sixth Form. They have continually demonstrated our school values of Pride, Respect, Kindness and Resilience, not only through their studies but in the many ways they have contributed to the whole school community and beyond. We know that they are well prepared for the next exciting stage of their lives and we congratulate each and every one of them for their wonderful achievements, we wish them every success with their next steps.”
