Birch Wins First Community System

Since the launch back in October, with the 2.6 mile Mini-marathon, the Community System has provided further opportunities for our students in Year 7, 8 and 9 to represent Waingels by having a chance to achieve points for their community in a wide range of exciting, inclusive events.

The friendly competition has inspired students to demonstrate their ‘exceptional’ skills in
line with our school Culture and Values - an essential aspect of their Personal Development, including public speaking, writing about key historical figures, recalling
flags in the Geography Quiz and the Jubilee Bake Off. With this year concluding with the Sports Festivals, a huge congratulations to Birch who end the year victorious winners.
