Thankful Illustration Tiles

As part of the National Day of Reflection held on Tuesday 23rd March, all students across all year groups have been creating colourful thankful tiles during tutor time. The purpose of these tiles is to write and draw what we have been thankful for over the past year like our family, friends and teachers for example.

“We are thankful to be able to come to school and get the education we need despite the rough Covid times. On behalf of the students at Waingels we would like to say thank you to the staff who are on the front line of the NHS, carers, teachers, police and the fire brigade as well as lots more.”

“We hope everything is back to normal soon but in the meantime remember HANDS, FACE, SPACE.”
