Joyous A Level Results for Waingels

We are again delighted for all our students and their families with another wonderful set of A Level results. With 20% of all A Level grades at A or A* and 75% at A* - C and a record number of Distinction and Distinction * grades at BTEC, these outstanding achievements are the well-deserved reward for all the effort and dedication put in by students and their teachers.

There was a delightful buzz this morning as students came to collect their results. As always there are some truly outstanding achievements – 12 students with an average grade of A (see picture below).

For all, these results are the accumulation of seven years of study, learning and graft. We are grateful for everything the class of 2012 have given to our school; we wish them well as they embark on the next stage of their young lives – whether it be to university, into the world of work, on an apprenticeship or on a year out to work and travel. And we look forward to welcoming them all to Presentation Evening in December to celebrate their achievements.
